ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

The Georgia Black Republican Council was created by the Republican National Committee in 1976 with chapters in all 50 states and US Territories. Today, it remains one of the longest-serving Republican organizations for the Georgia Republican Party,  serving as a voice in addressing issues on race, voting, criminal justice, education, economic empowerment, etc.

We are a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation comprised of Black Americans who seek to serve as a voice and vehicle through which traditionally underrepresented U.S. citizens of Black American descent can further exercise their voice about conditions and decisions, which affect their existence as Americans, conservatives, and Republicans. The Georgia Black Republican Council is committed to representing the concerns of all Americans for the strengthening and testing of the Republican platform, and for the enhancement of their social environment, political involvement, and personal economy. Further, we are committed to the education of Black Americans by heightening the cultural awareness for Black Conservatives and expanding leader capacity to serve our great nation.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Georgia Black Republican Council is to encourage more Black Conservatives to join the Republican Party,  build an organization that fosters conservative principles in the Black community, address issues affecting the Black American community, secure the election and participation of Black Republicans at all levels of government and supports the principles and objectives of the Republican Party through education, communication, and motivation of the black electorate.
