COMMITTEES
The Events Committee - Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that support the organization’s mission, engage the Black community, and promote fundraising, outreach, or advocacy goals.
The Legislative Committee - Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and influencing legislation and public policy that impacts the Black community and affects the organization’s mission, and stakeholders. The committee serves as the organization’s voice on legislative matters at the local, state, and federal levels.
The Media Committee - Responsible for developing and managing the organization’s communication strategy across all media platforms (print, broadcast, digital, podcasts, and social media). The goal is to promote events, share key messages, build public awareness, and maintain a consistent and positive public image.
Political Committee – Responsible for guiding the political strategy of the organization or campaigns. This includes candidate support, policy advocacy, election engagement, and public education on political issues relevant to the Black community and organization’s mission.
